- The grade AG-3. The grade for a coin that is just below good. On an About Good coin, only the main features of it are present. Date, mintmark, peripheral lettering, or other features are often partially worn away.
- About Uncirculated
- About Uncirculated is the same as Almost Uncirculated, The grades AU50, through 58. at first glance these coins often look Uncirculated, but closer inspection will reveal friction or rub marks.
- Abrasions
- Areas of a coin where another coin or foreign object has worn or rubbed away the metal through friction.
